The author of a book entitled “Against The Odds – A Book About Struggles, Failures, Growth and Success”, Mr. Emmanuel E.K Awumee, has donated five copies of the book to the GIMPA Library.
Mr. Awumee is the Lead Facilitator of SESIL Entrepreneurial Coffee Session, a Human Capital Development Initiative and the CEO of SESIL Ventures. In 2012 he was a student at the GIMPA Business School. He was therefore delighted to come back to his Alma Mater to donate his book. He considers his Alma Mater as a great contributor to his current knowledge base and his entrepreneurial journey.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Institute, the Librarian Mr. Adolph Agbeh, thanked Mr. Awumee, pointing out that in spite of the fact that electronic books are gaining currency at the moment, hard copy books will always be around and will continue to be used for a long time to come. He commended the author for remembering his Alma Mater and assured him that the books would be publicized to the GIMPA Community.
